I participated in a couple of swaps recently. Fun stuff…
1. Mini-Mitten Swap Items Received – thank you again!
2. Mini-Stocking Ornament Sent Out (about 4 inches in length):
3. Baking Supplies Swap Received – thank you again! From Sweden, no less. 🙂
It’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Have you done your monthly exam?
The Big Question
Does anyone know what this plant is? We received it as a gift and I’ll be darned if I can figure out what it is. Following are two pictures – get it right and I’ll send you a Minnesota magnet. Seriously, I’m going crazy not knowing how to take care of it.
That’s all for tonight. See ya.

Doh! Got beat to the punch – yup, that’s a tomato plant. You’ve got a TON of tomatoes, too. Yum!
Definitely looks like tomatoes. I had cherry tomatoes in my garden this past summer!
it could be a Jerusalem Cherry. See Wikipedia entry here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerusalem_Cherry
Hmm. I don’t think it’s a tomato. The fruit looks just like a cherry tomato but the leaves look more like they belong to the family of pepper plants. So I am going to call it Marbles – an ornamental pepper. (on p.3 of the site listed above by L.) which would also be a more suitable gift.
Mmmm, tomatoes! The leaves look a little different, but I’m guessing it’s some sort of heirloom variey. Yummy!! Cut one open and taste to see if it’s that.
cherry peppers? the kind you see in the pickled vegie jars? i have never seen them on a vine but the leaves do not look like tomato nor do the flowers, the flowers and leaves look like pepper.

Please forgive me for smiling when I saw your mystery plant…
Umm, looks like you have some very nice little cherry tomatoes there.
It actually looks like a very healthy plant too *smile*
I can try and find the name if you like – I’m thinking that they look like a type I have grown before ( called ‘sweet william’ or ‘tiny tim’)
Here is a link anyway…

They look yummy.
